Huracan- recreation of the God of Fierce Wind from the Mayan Culture:
Huracan once again provided the transportation during the annual intrepid Expedition beyond the default world. Art unfolded at every twist and turn as the Mind Shaft Society explored the nuances among the dust particles. Embarkation was at the Bureau of Artistic Development where Creative License was granted. Debarkation was at the Trauma Unit, our minds and bodies having been fully blown.
Make Magazine produces Maker Faires throughout the United States. Ground Zero is in Silicon Valley where the event occurs over three days each spring at the San Mateo County Fairgrounds in the northern Silicon Valley. The Crucible is an industrial arts learning and production facility in West Oakland, California. The Crucible provides classes in glass blowing, welding and fabricating, jewelry, bicycle repair and many aspects of the industrial arts. The Crucible provides wonderful community support for the youth residing in the surrounding community.

An acid test tribute was held at the Mission Rock Cafe on the Dock of the Bay in San Francisco. The two Dead shows were four days apart so the Merry Pranksters cooked up an Acid Test Tribute held at the Mission Rock Cafe on the dock of the San Francisco Bay. The Acid Test commenced at 8pm on May 12, 2009 and ended at 8am the next morning. Did you ever pass the acid test?
The Bus Further came to San Francisco with the band of Merry Prankster Offspring drawn by two days of The Dead at Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View. A tour of San Francisco on the Bus was directed by AreWeReally? on Monday, May 11, 2009 to generate enthusiasm for the impending Acid Test Tribute and to prank the citizens of San Francisco.
The Bus Further, the original and the duplicate, reside in Pleasant Hill, Oregon. The Keseys and the Babbses and assorted Merry Pranksters continue generating the impeccable DNA spawning old memories and new experiences. Can you tell the difference?
